To dust the worktop, use starch or powdered sugar , which you can buy on our website. We do not recommend using powdered sugar that can be bought commercially, because it is granulated and changes the consistency of the fondant, which is made from a very fine powdered sugar.
Fondant for covering cakes, extends to the size of 2.5 mm.
If it happens that the fondant has been left on the work table for a long time and it becomes drier, then don't panic!
The easiest way to correct the fondant to get back its former flexibility:
1. add a little syrup made from a teaspoon of sugar with a teaspoon of boiled water
2. Lightly wet your hands and knead the fondant again until it becomes elastic and workable
3. Don't put grease in the first place because it ruins the flexibility of the fondant.
