The history of Zwilling started on June 13, 1731 in the zodiac sign. Although the company's logo has changed considerably over the years and the small knife manufacturer has become an international manufacturer of cooking utensils, our quality standards have not changed. I went through a long way from a small forge in Solingen, which produced quality knives and blades, to a global company that sets the standard for high quality cooking utensils. Over the years, I have become inventors. Since 1731, we manufacture Zwilling knives in Solingen, Germany, the place of origin of world producers of swords, knives and scissors. Our Bladesmiths masters are trained for 8 years before they can get our hands on our knives.
